
OUR STORY
Hi, I’m Morgan and I am a registered dietitian that really loves food. As an RD, I worked with so many people navigating gut issues—IBS, sensitivities, and chronic digestive discomfort that made food feel overwhelming.
These conditions leave people reacting to foods they once loved, and feeling helpless when trying to figure out what’s safe to eat. Many were placed on the low FODMAP diet (an effective elimination plan to help identify triggers) but were left with very few resources or products that actually made eating feel simple, satisfying, or even possible.
They didn’t need more restriction—they needed real food they could actually enjoy.
In between virtual patient sessions during the pandemic, I began baking sourdough. It started as a creative outlet and turned into a fascination with fermentation and how it could actually make food easier on the digestive system.
One thing led to another, and soon I was doing sourdough pizza pop-ups and dreaming up gut-friendly twists on familiar foods.
The more I learned about long fermentation and how it helps break down gluten and tough-to-digest compounds, the more I knew: sourdough is something special.
I didn’t have investors or a production team when this started. Just a belief that people deserved better snacks and a whole lot of hours in a rented commercial kitchen.
Every cracker was rolled, cut, and baked by hand. I packed orders myself, stuck on labels one by one, and spent weekends selling at local pop-ups and markets. What started as a passion project turned into a real-deal cracker company.
And we’re just getting started.
Unbothered is still a small team (hi! it’s me, Morgan 👋), but our mission is big: to take the stress out of eating.
